Japanese-made Amada bending machine Press Brake Upgrade and Renovation

The customer is currently using a Japanese-made Amada bending machine, and its control computer is a customized version. Our technical team detected that the fault originated from the motherboard. Given that the machine has been in use for more than a decade and the computer is extremely old, although we successfully repaired the computer and got the machine running normally again, considering the potential hidden dangers such as the aging of electrical components and the obsolescence of the control technology, we took the initiative to provide the customer with a comprehensive renovation plan, aiming to thoroughly solve all kinds of existing problems of the equipment. After in-depth and detailed communication with the customer, the customer gladly accepted our proposal. We replaced the numerical control system of the bending machine with the advanced DELEM DA-66T system. During the technical renovation process, we carried out a comprehensive reorganization of the entire electrical cabinet. We re-planned the internal circuit layout, replaced the aging electrical components, optimized the electrical connections, and greatly improved the stability and reliability of the electrical system. Most importantly, we added a total of 11 axes, including X/R1/R2/Z1/Z2, etc., and also utilized the DM-101, DM-102, and DM-103VA expansion modules, which significantly expanded the functions of the equipment, enabling it to easily handle more complex and diverse processing requirements and greatly improving the processing accuracy and efficiency. The newly upgraded DELEM DA-66T control system is extremely easy to operate, adopting an intuitive and convenient touch screen operation mode. Operators can quickly input various complex commands with simple operations, which greatly reduces the operation threshold and learning cost. After this renovation, the expected service life of the machine can be extended by more than 10 years, effectively saving the customer the high cost of equipment replacement. The customer was very satisfied with the renovation effect. Subsequently, the customer introduced a bending machine of a friend that also needed renovation to us. We followed the same professional plan and successfully completed the renovation of this machine as well.
